Hello people almost there i think,i have the D4S/D5S compatible LTU2PCB installed into my slim D4S 0225f/w, extracted key no problem, after much searching found LTU-0225-V1.0.bin f/w. That flashed no problem. Now the xbox slim will only play DVD's - not original or back up games. I remember havin this problem years ago with a PHAT and it turned out it was wrong firmware then. But this is the only f/w available for LTU2PCB slim 0225:confused:.
Can anyone help me out here ta

if you have slimkey extract from your drive you DO NOT use LTU, you use LT3.0

LTU requires information from RGH extract, and you are not building the fw correctly. when you load LTU and spoof your key over, it actually doesnt spoof your key into the LTU fw. save your LTU and reopen it as source you will see diferent dvd key hence the insert game error.

build a LT3.0 image using your dummy.bin and see what happens

First answer original pcb is ok,.Thats out now along with key extraction. TX LTU2PCB is installed JF log is with LTU2PCB installed and the only firmware it would take all the way to outra was LTU2-0225-v1.0.bin.I thought you didn't have to RGH 0225's?
Sorry to be a pain but how do you build LT3.0 image using your dummy.bin
i thought you bought LTU2PCB flashed with key and f/w

TX LTU2PCB is from ck3.co.uk

if you have a LTU pcb, AFAIK only a LTU image will work with it, so therefore you will need to RGH your system to obtain the NAND extracts key.bin and CR.bin to be able to correctly build a LTU firmware.

LT3.0 is only for normal unlocked boards or the older TX boards. LTU boards are made specifically for LTU firmware, LT3.0 wont work on it.

so either purchase a normal unlocked PCB, OR kamikaze unlock your original PCB and flash LT3.0 to it. to make LT3.0 load your dummy.bin as source and JF will auto load lt3.0.

to use your LTU pcb, you must RGH then system, then reflash the original NAND and remove the install, and make correct LTU image and flash it to the drive .

Well am gonna have to ask for a refund on TX LTU2PCB then because if you read about item on site it says it is effortless and makes replacing your faulty drive easy with your key and LTU f/w and cheaper than sending away for costly repairs.LTU2 is way lot easier than LTU1 apparently.Well if anything at least someone who reads this might have second thoughts on buying one

and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

its your fault that you do not have a clue how to use it correctly.

the answer is simple, your just not understanding it.

RGH your system, obtain files and you can build the FW required.

the install guide clearly explains the steps required. perhaps you should have read them before you jumped in feet first!!

can some explain what this post below actually means as i'm also under the impression that RGH isnt need for the 16d4s with the LTU boards, it looks to me after reading this that the key.bin cr.bin are some how taken from the original boards but after looking through jungleflasher and taking reads theres no new info extracted with lastest jungleflasher so it is confusing

support for Xecuter additional LTU2 files for DG-16D4S support
added extraction for DG-16D4S serial info from original drive at KeyCR time for LTU2 and LTU1

when building the LTU2 fw, and you feed JF your extracted files you are meant to have the original PCB hooked up, and it reads more unique data from the drive for your LTU2 firmware.

you still need the RGH done to obtain the key.bin CR.bin files to be able to build the LTU2 fw in the first place.

If your console has a DG16D4S then a LTU should not be needed, just get the DVDKey from it and then use it in a regular replacement PCB unit, simple.
