M$ banning Maddness

Anyone knows wich is the status of M$ banning maddness, since Halo2 is at stores for almost 2-3 weeks??
Continues with the same intensity? or seem to be decreased?

I'm not sure thats really on microsoft's agenda. They will be launching a new console soon and with the current hardware nearing the end of it's life/support they most likely want to send out a stong deterrent that modding is not tolerated - With a little impact to the platform as possible. Whether it will be sucessful or financially wise (if xboxes are still sold at a loss) is questionable.

Out of interest, does anyone know how many xboxes are modded? I know four other people who have modded their xboxs, but not one of them uses live.

I just signed up for live last night... No ban.. I played halo for like 2 hours!!! I seem to be fine with my mod off/disabled....

they're losing more money on xboxs now more than ever since they dropped prices down to $150, hel they were even losin money wen they were sellin it for $300 i hear. Have they even made a profit with the xbox system as a whole yet? I kno they make most their cash on games/live so why would they want to ban so many of us. Not like were guna go on Live with our chips on to cheat.

Xbox $150, LIVE Starter Kit $70, Halo 2 Collectors Edition $55, getting f**ked by Microsoft priceless. The marriage theory is 100% correct. That's exactly what happened to me. I was on LIVE before I modded and went on for the first time in a while to play, like most people, Halo 2. There is no way I'm gonna buy another Xbox for LIVE...that's exactly what MS wants. I'll eventually get a new EEprom or somthing.

About Games updates on flash drives

Got one question i have a lite-on drive that flashed with ixtreme lt and i playin a back-up. my question they asked my if i wanted to do a game update not a live update should i do it or not. it shouldnt hurt if it just a gae update right.
