Ok I just got one of these the controller is great nice and small and doesnt weight must since it only uses 2 AAA batterys.

The problem is the big hugh ugly adapter thing that you have to plug into the front of the xbox.

Ok looking at it doesnt really look like I will have a problem mounting it in my xbox the only thing is the receiver. Will it work if it is hidden in my xbox or is it like the dvd receiver and I need it in the open.

The only led i see is the flashing one that tells you if the controller in on.

thanks I actually just tested it thru the wall and it works no problem. so im going to put it inside my case.

I just got one more thing should I put a hole in my case so I could use the mem card slot on the wireless adapter. I know that It is petty much point less but I think it would be kind of cool to make it a built in mem card slot what you guys think.

PLUS I recommend this controller to anyone that wants a wireless controller but doesnt want a heavy beast. hxxp://www.madcatz.com/MadCatz/product_details.jsp?product_id=4586

mould it on? thats abit silly. you may aswell just keep it plugged in so you can remove it. i think you should take the reciever out of its shell and work the wires and stuff around inside the xbox, that would be pretty cool if you wired it all in like that and stuff. my friend put an on button in his xbox handset and that works well nice.

no, like cut a hole in the xbox case and stick the card slot in there, so its like on the front of the xbox, sorry for the confusion

yea true, hmm i suppose that makes the idea a little bit better. you have to consider the available space though.

Ya i would be taking it out of the case and the wiring is a joke. if you look in the case of the reciever you can see the wires the connect from the plug to the board so I just have to make them longer and wire it up like a built in dvd dongle. I just got to wait til my lil brother brings back my dremel.

I think im going to put the slot on the side of my xbox. Then change the Led to a blue one and mount in the front by my chip switch.
