LITEON 83850 v1 MAJOR Problem with Drive + LT+ 1.9

Ive flashed the drive but now when i turn off the console, it opens the DVD drive and stays like that. When i open the tray, it closes on its own...

The problem occured when i did the half tray open, i then flashed to 1.9 is there any reason this is happening and is their a fix for the problem?!?

CKR Probe III mate. The drive flash went fine and jungleflasher gave me a verified write, i can't actually test a game because as soon as i close the drive, it auto ejects again.

Really frustrating!

Its not in Vendor, i Outro'd it. Still having the same problems :(

Been told it could be something to do with the southbridge on the motherboard? Could this be correct??

i bought an xbox like that and it isnt the flash something with the 360 it might not have been hooked up right when you turned on through 360 the 360 i bought i didnt figure out how to fix but it wasnt flashed

I bought an xbox like that once,It had a Lite_on drive, could have been an 8XXX v1.
The problem was with the dvd drive, one of the contacts for the closed position prox
switch got bent backward and coudn't make contact.
so every time the tray closed it wouldn't send signal that it was all the way closed so it would open back up.
All I had to do was straighten the contact back out and it worked perfectly.

Still havent fixed this, ive tried an identical drive and still have the same problem, i would be greatful if anyone could help me on this.

Im going to create a video to show exactly what the problem is just now..

This is the equipment im using.. i fear its not a flashing problem, i have a feeling its a southbridge problem (as no other drive is working, even though they work fine on other consoles) is their a way to fix this if so?

i flashed a console for this guy yesterday and he asked me if i had any idea why it was doing this.gotta say i never come accross this as he's tried 3 different stock drives so to me says a mb problem ?? ..i assume it wasn't doing this before you flashed it m8.something damaged on the mb maybe does the drive do it in another xbox....the mb is a jasper anybody any ideas/advice...cheers
