Make xbox faster?

How can I make my Falcon run faster? Besides cache clear and memory space freeing. Could I swap GPU/CPU chips to jasper chips or even newer ones? Or is there other ways to make it operate quicker?

What makes you think it's running slowly? U can't swap chips as the chips are different specs and therefore integrated into the mobo differently. Except for load times specific to the games, i've found all models of 360 to run as quick as each other unless there are underlying hardware issues such as impending RROD.

I read somewhere you can add more ram, but the games wont use it, so it is only worth doing if you want to run linux, or have a devkit nand on it, and having run both fusion and rgloader on mine, I have found that even those run about the same as freeboot as far as speed.

My bro put skyrim on my falcon so we could test the CPU/GPU temps. (92mm intake fan, two temp sensor, Akasa fan controller) temps were fine but it froze a little, my brother claimed it didn't do that before. It was never loaded on hard drive. Regardless I like when things run correctly. Is there anything I could do to make it faster? I'm down for MB swaps and chip swaps. I'm open for all options :)

If everything else works fine, then I wouldnt mess with it, as far as loading times, HDD loading is always faster than Disk loading. it is a fact. So try copying the game to the hdd.

So besides me welding an xbox and ps3 together, I'm stunned there is nothing I could do to upgrade/make my console quicker. Are xbox 360's this limited to performance enhancing mods?? I mean we can only make them run cooler? I feel like a 16year old kid who put an intake on my car. I want something fun to do.

I sincerely hope this is a joke question. I feel like I'm going to have to explain rudimentary computing to a primary school kid.

First off, puting a new intake in a car will not really help it perform better either, unless unless you also upgrade the exhaust, second off i dont know any 16year old kids who can really afford to do that..... Unless they are selling drugs. if you want a faster system, get the Xbox One or PS4. Dont ask stupid upgrade questions....... As far as upgrading a 360 goes, you can RGH it to play homebrew, and install a demon to keep stock capabilitys, and custom firmware to play burnt games. these are not proformance upgrades though. There is no point in proformance upgrades as the games are designed to work with the hardware as is, and any upgrade you may do will not make a difference to a game. So if you add ram chips, it wont do crap in game, but if you decided to run linux, or use it as a devkit it would. But since all you want to do is play games, there is no Performance upgrade worth doing.

Don't start sweating after that angry reply. I mean is this not the noob room?? I'm very automotively inclined, specially at wiring. That's why I decided PC's can't be too much different. I'm just learning broski. Anyway now that my performance ideas are smashed. Cooling upgrades continue.

If you think that was an angry reply, it wasnt, it was more a statement of fact, and just because you are good at wiring cars, doesnt mean you should putting computers together, or modding xboxes. PC's and Xboxes are very very different. Even with the new cars that have "Computers" running all the electronics it is still different than an actual PC. Also if you are automotivly inclined then you should also know that a new intake wont give you much of a boost with out an upgrade for the exhaust. It is one of those what goes in must come out scenarios. anyway, I digress, as for cooling upgrades, if you have a phat try this: http://www.team-xecuter.com/xdrivepl...us_install.pdf you will still need to buy the xdrive/xfan kit, but it is the best on the market.... also remove xclamps and replace thermal compound with some new arctic silver 5.

Also I thought as someone asking a question, you would like a straight forward answer, unlike some of the others you got such as "Tape an xbox and ps3 together". You asked the question, many people took it as a joke, or told you it was not possible, or worth doing. Even the admins made a joke out of this post. I wasnt trying to upset, just pointing out facts. If you want to talk cars, I could do that all day, so could many other guys on this site. I believe that cars a hardwired into the male DNA, so every guy knows at least a little about cars. I grew up around cars, as my dad was a shade tree mechanic, So I have rebuilt my fair share of engines and stuff, and I know the information I gave as far as this goes is accurate.
