Hi Guys,

I managed to RGH my console yesterday that was previously stuck on an update loop. Everything went well, i followed a few different guides took my time and it started first time!

The strange thing was when it restarted it started with the 14717 dash, but i though this wasn't glitchable? I loaded xexmenu onto it and that works fine, i have ran a few emulators and they work ok as well. I have also some how managed to get it loading into FSD and this is where i have a couple of questions :)

When FSD loads if i want to get into xexmenu i have to click into my avatar and sign in, this then takes me to the latest dash and i can access xexmenu through there. Is there a way of just accessing xexmenu through FSD without having to sign in to the latest dash? Also how do i load the emulators on so they can be accessed through FSD.

Sorry for all the questions but i have baffled myself as well :)

Near Melbourne , Australia
you need to set your scan paths in FSD ... that's all you need to do
i've also put mine with a scan depth of 10 for each drive so it will find everything

Thanks very much, got it working now! As for the emulators how do i go about getting them into FSD, do they need to be in a specific folder along with the roms?

Thanks again

From fsd2config:

<paths>
<!-- Retail and devkit attributes are used to configure the tab on which
the title is displayed if it is a retail or devkit executable.
Options are: 360, HOMEBREW, EMULATOR and XBOX1 (can be left blank).
Example: <path retail='360' devkit='EMULATOR'>hdd1:\emulators</path> -->
<path retail='360' devkit='360'>usb0:\CONTENT\0000000000000000\</path>
<path retail='360' devkit='360'>hdd1:\CONTENT\0000000000000000\</path>
<path retail='360' devkit='360'>usb0:\GAMES\</path>
<path retail='360' devkit='360'>hdd1:\GAMES\</path>
<path retail='XBOX1' devkit='XBOX1'>usb0:\XBOX1\</path>
<path retail='XBOX1' devkit='XBOX1'>hdd1:\XBOX1\</path>
<path retail='HOMEBREW' devkit='HOMEBREW'>usb0:\APPLICATIONS\</path>
<path retail='HOMEBREW' devkit='HOMEBREW'>hdd1:\APPLICATIONS\</path>
<path retail='360' devkit='EMULATOR'>usb0:\EMULATORS</path>
<path retail='360' devkit='EMULATOR'>hdd1:\EMULATORS</path>
</paths>

You can either modify the paths or just put things where FSD expects them to be.

If that info helped you, could you give me a thanks? I've got over 1,000 posts over at xbox-scene but I'm considered a noob here, so I can't post my technical question in the proper section until I spam the noob forum.
