RGH Mandatory items needed for RGH slim

Hi guys,

i am i bit confused about what items i really need to buy.
I've got a x360usbpro and a ck3 lite.

But these two items seem to be useless for RGH, right?

As far as i understood by reading the tuts around here, i am gonna need the following five items:


  • Xecuter Cool Runner Addon für Nand-X
  • NAND-X inkl. JTAG Connection Kit
  • Xecuter Nand-X & Coolrunner Slim QSB Install Kit
  • Xecuter Nand-X to Coolrunner JTAG Kabel
  • Xecuter NAND-X USB Update Cable

With these five items i will not need the following two:

  • Xecuter CK3i
  • Xecuter CK3 to Nand-X Update Kabel
Because the ck3i is for powering up the nand-x and can be replaced with the cable above, can't it?

And lat but not least

  • basic solder skills and an iron

So...mmhh

Do i really need to buy the "NandX Coolrunner Cable" or is it included in the "nand-x connection kit"?
And the same question about the QSB? There are some QSB included in the "nand-x connection kit".

Because in the product description is written that all cables are included.

Thanks a lot for confirmation my shopping list.

The nand x comes with all cables needed to read the nand. The coolrunner is an add in. So the programming cable is needed.

If you are buying a new nand x then it should already have v3 if the firmware in it. So you shouldn't need the update cable.

Once again the qsb that comes with the nand x is for reading the nand only. So the combination nand/coolrunner qsb is required preferably.

so is this all u need then to RGH a slim ?:confused:

nand-x v.3
coolrunner glitch chip
nand-x to coolrunner programing cable
nand/coolrunner qsb

i've got all items except the qsb.

why dont tx offer either qsb for phats or slim when buying the nand-x kit

so now i have to order the qsb for slim another £6 exspence this hack is exspensive but suppose it will be worth it
