ANSWERED Manually applying title updates via thumb drive, nxe or FSD: help

I'm trying to figure out how to manually apply title updates to my RGH'd console with a 500Gb Hdd and a hand full of games ripped to hdd. Some games are GOD and some are direct FSD transfers.
Either way FSD picks them all up. I'd like to apply the TU from FSD but can't seem to figure out just how this works.

Lets back up a bit.
I'm using Horizon to "inject" the TU's to an xbox formatted USB thumb drive
I'm adding 3 title updates to the same thumb drive
In horizon; if I expand Title Updates, I can see all three TU's.

When I insert the USB into the console I do not get an auto prompt saying there's any title updates available. So I launch a game, which I know I have one of the TU's for, expecting a prompt... nothing.

This happens in NXE and FSD

In FSD there's a Title Update manager in the games menu. I click upload and it says "transferring", then a while later says, Transfer complete (or something like that); but there does not appear to be any TU applied.
For instance, if I try and system link MW3 the version number is the same old number.

Not sure where to go here...

Use xemenu and copy the title updates into the cache folder on your hard drive.

Edit: if you want to use fsd. Just click download(since you want to download them) now you can apply them

you're almost there , instead of upload, press download and fsd downloads the updates for you, then you just need to apply them

Wow that was fast. You guys are awesome!
Kay I got that far but I still cannot see where or how to "apply" the TU.
When I select Download TUs I get an option for HDD1, or USBMUCache0. I select HDD1. It then says "transferring title updates".
That's it... Nothing to confirm the transfer was successful. When I launch the game I just updated I do not get any prompt to apply an update.
Version number remains the same.

Is there a TU path I need to modify?

Not to pry but why not just connect to the net and d/l them right from FSD?

I looked for that option originally and couldn't see where to do that. In the Title Update manager I only get the option to download or upload.

I figured there's be somehing in the system settings under Updates but I see nothing for TU downloads.
I have a profile with FSD and credentials are set in the dash to communicate...

You have them on your thumb drive? Then just copy and paste into cache folder on your hard drive via xexmenu. No need to use FSD if they are already on your usb

this what i was suggesting....
are you sure the game that you are trying to get updates for has them ??

Thanks. I think I finally got it.
Part of my confusion was I had all my TUs on the thumb drive which I didn't necessarily need. FSD does download on its own IF YOU GIVE IT A CHANCE!
I was selecting download thinking it was reading off the USB drive which was taking forever so I aborted thinking nothing was happening.

I´cant download any TU to my RGH Xbox.
Whenever I select a game to download TU for I receive the message "no updates found"

When I check for the updates in Xboxunitiy I confirm that indeed there are.

I can download other content, such as game covers or pictures.

any ideas?

My kid uses the Xbox, that's why I don't want to change to Aurora and complicate things for him.

Can you give me some advice or guide me to download and install the unofficial FSD ?
