Hello, I did a Jasper 512mb BB install about a week ago. I also installed a Demon and got it up and running and installed Aurora. about 2 days ago it wouldn't turn on at all on retail or demon nand. It was out of nowhere it had been working just fine the past couple of days. I fixed that by resoldering all of my points with some fresh flux and cleaned every point with 90% rubbing alcohol. i started back up just great played for several hours no freezing or problems. then just about an hour ago it wouldn't turn on again and the demon is reporting the manufacturer for af not found again like it did 2 days ago.

You need to post pictures of your install to get help.

Oh yeah forgot to say I installed the CR4 XL using the RGH2+ wiring
no one here can guess what the problem is or where it is , you need to post pics of you soldering on cr4 and demon and as much info as you can

you would think everyone would know that by now the amounts of times it as been said , that's if they have bothered to read the rules and other posts
A rumour must have gone round that we are that good on this site, that taking pics and giving us all the info of the problem would just get in the way and slow us down.

No I just assumed maybe it was something really simple to fix that it didn't need pictures. I have posted the pictures. if you need anymore information I am more than happy to provide.

When it comes to power the Demon's external flasher lights up blue and can be changed. the CR4 has it's red power light on but when i press the power button nothing lights up no fans turning. When it happened first though the center light just lit up green the fans were full power. and it didn't glitch. i turned it off. turned it back on it did the same thing. i unplugged it for 30 seconds and plugged it back in and it wouldn't turn on at all.

Does it turn on the other nand? If not I would say busted STBY_CLK.

looking art some of your soldering I wouldn't be surprised if you have not got a bridge somewhere, as stucknvegas said is it dead or ring of light , if its dead there is a good chance it is a bridge

well for stb_clk i think it's good becuase i can measure continuity from FT2R2, C4N27, and the R1 pad on the QSB. that or something really is bridged. i read somewhere of taking a soft brush tooth brush to the board to break away any accidental splashes. and i'll check everything for continuity and bridges with my multimeter

Can we get a close up picture of your QSB V-3 the long end by R1 Letters Antalpromille said STBY_CLK
He has a good point that trace may have damage...RGH 2+ does not use that point only RJTAG method uses that point

actually i found a bridge it was on the Xo x1 points on the demon. got rid of the bridge and it starts now. its weird that it started no problem for a couple days and then it just stopped working? rsz_img_20150221_162615[1].jpg
