I just installed my demon on my trinity and plugged everything in to read my nand before proceeding to install my rgx. I get manufacturer for code FF not found error each time. Any suggestions?

Use a multimeter that tests for continuity (most do).

First of all, test the points next to each other (on the DemoN) to make sure that none of them are bridged.

Once you have done that, test each point against the NAND pins on top of the board.

If they all check out fine, test the pins on the ribbon socket against the pins on the external module.

Flux the area and use some solder wick to mop up the excess solder.

There are videos on YouTube which show you how to do this properly.

It really helps to apply a little bit of solder to the wick first and then use it to remove excess solder from the board.

I bought solder braid at radio shack but this may not do the trick. It sticks to the board and appears to be entirely copper photo (1).JPG

You need to get some closer pictures in particular the smaller points on the board. Did you try and read the nand before connecting it up in the board by any chance?
