Hi there, I hope I am not asking anything that has been previously answered, but I have been looking for answers for hours now and have come up empty. First off, I have desoldered the LPC slots on my motherboard and installed my Xapt3r. However, I am going bonkers trying to figure out which hole to use for the D0 wire; I don't want to mess this up by experimenting, so I am asking you guys. All the photos I have seen so far in the on line tutorials are of later version motherboards which are slightly different than my V1.0. Can someone please tell/show me or send me a site URL with the LPC pin identifications including where to plug in the D0 wire on a V1.0 Xbox? Also, please let me know if and where I have to solder the green/red/gray cable to get my HDD and LAN leds to work on my external display/switch. I am also upgrading to a larger hard drive, but I would like to just transfer over the stuff I have currently stored on my old one. Is there an easy way to do this? I was thinking of temporarily installing my old Xbox hard drive and the new one into my PC and doing a complete hard drive copy from old to new; will this work? Also, is there a way that I can copy/transfer games/music/etc. from one moded Xbox to another via system link? If so, please send info. Hope I didn't overload you guys with questions. Many thanx.

1. Here is an image of the V1.0 - 1.1 Do point
2. The Harddrive LED and LAN LED wire are an option. you can solder them of you want. The LED on the switch flash when you are using the HD and the LAN, you can find out where to solder them on the Tutorial on the homepage
3. You need to format your HD in X3 Config live for it to work. you also need to backup your stock HD. (search there are many tuts on how to do this)
4. There is a way to link 2 xbox together. so you can read your friends Hard drive on your machine. i have never done this but i think most dashboards support it like Avalaunh

You dont have to solder the green and red but if you dont then you will not get the leds lit up on the switch for hdd and Lan.
Also before you get flamed, look around more next time.

In the tutorial, there's an alternative DO point to the one bad2bones posted. It says v1.0 by it and it works in my v1.0 XBOX.

yes but the one in the Tutorial is on the bottom of the box and it would be hard to plug that xapter in there

Am having frag problems now on the V1.0 box; powers on & off twice & then stays on, the X-LED on External Switch is red & I get no video. D0 connections check out & Xapt3r LEDs indicate good connections. Am going bonkers!
