as i was moddin an xbox, in your tutorial it says to run the black wires under the controller ports and then threw the bottom of the faceplate.

well i was concerned that maybe once i tightened down the screws for the controller port that the wires might pinch. so i looked at an alternate spot to put the wires thru, and its right above the holes on the bottom of the face plate....

take a look, its circled in white, just cut the top, sides, bottom and you gotta nice hole big nuff to slide the black wires thru nice and easy.

hope maybe someone else thinks this is a good idea and will do it as well. Happy Modding!

Hey, I use that same hole except I tore out come of the plastic with my leatherman to make it easier, but yeah its really easy to do it that way. I second the idea.

wouldnt there be more of a risk of the wires being cut by the bare metal now?? that damn metal shilding is pretty sharp....but the pinching from the controller port was in my mind also but nothing has happened and ive removed and put back that port plenty of times....i actually think theres is a bit of clearance there for the wires to lay...but still nice one on coming up with your own custom way of fitting it

ive used the same way to mount my control switches for a while now..
i got sik of all the lights at the font so i sit switch between the
audio\video output and ethernet port.. then run the wires thru the gaps around the ethernet port..never damaged a single wire or marked them
either.

ive always passed the switch wires through the hole under the first controller port where the clip is holding on the front panel. you usually have to take the front panel off to get the wires in there, but after you snap it back in, there is plenty of clearance for the wires and nothing to cut them on.

okay i didn't plug my hacked xbox from last ban wave last year!

by accident i confused my friend's xbox from the hacked on so i plugged the hacked one online and since then i lost my avatar. Even if i changed my HDD to the god xbox i lost my avatar.

Now, i want to update my fifa 11 bcs i want the new patch for fifa... and can't do sh*t!!

I can't access xbox live and can't donload the new interfce! does it has something to do directly with my modded xbox???
