Hello,

after doing a little more researche, I figured I might have found one of the problems I have with my XBox..
but, I need to know if some traces have specific outputs..

Could somebody tell me how much output the highlighted traces should have?

Thanks in advance,

Regards.

Soldering was done a really long time ago, and I've asked several times about that.

however, when I desolder the QSB, I still get the same error ( E47 if I'm correct.. the error of the HDD not being accessable )

It's a Corona 1 btw.

Unrelated to the question, and purely on a hardware side:
Cheap flux can in some cases become slightly conductive, especially if baked on over time.
I would give it a thorough clean to remove all that residue (something you should really do anyway), or if not, check for any unusual drops in resistance between flux'd contacts. It's unlikely to be the cause, but it probably isn't helping the problem.

Hope this can be of help.

@Martin: the QSBgot lifted a bit some time ago, which made me think it could be possible.

@sudocow; thanks for the info.. I'll clean it up.

@BL4K3Y; I've asked for help many times, and I'm still with the same problem as I was back then..

let me find my other topic, as I'm writing this one from my phone.
EDIT: here it is: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141975

Thank you'all

Im probably wrong here, but you have a e74/RDOD your systems. In this case you would need to send it to some one who will be abel to locate the problem and fix it for you. Looking at the pictures you have provided, it could be caused du to bad soldering skills.

I've been talking to somebody here for repair, but he's on holidays till march.
I thought I might find some thing out myself aswell.

ps. the picture is not updated... the qsb got re-soldered and is clean at this very moment.

Look this is product support form. Could you please use up to date pictures otherwise it's pointless
nothing has changed..
except for the pcb's being cleaned and unconnecting the DGX.
I will try to make pictures asap and update this topic eventhough I didn't ask for help repairing the box at this time.

thanks anyway
