sorry but I have been searching all morning and can't find an answer but I'm trying to get the media center extender to load when I turn on the xbox, I went to to system settings\startup and selected media center but it still boots to fsd 3. I figured I might be able to use dashlaunch to load it but I can't find where media center is installed on the HDD. is the even possible on a rgh console, if so how? thanks in advance.

Redo the launch.ini to remove FSD from starting on boot. The launch.ini is being loaded before anything else. That's why you can't get it to work.

thank you that worked! I never would have thought of that as I would have figured something had to be there or the xbox would hang. this is replacing the HTPC in the living room so I need to make it as wife friendly as possible one other thing I just noticed is that netflix is not available in the movies menu of media center, any way to get that to work?

My pleasure but the as far as I know, the only way to use Netflix is with a Live connection and that's a bad idea with a modified console.

I want Netflix on my rgh slim also. I thought you could use it now without having to go thru live but who knows. I'll just continue to use it on my ps4

afaik this is a feature added after the supported by dl dash of 16747,i believe the next update adds the feature of netflix without live :) edit: yup its the next dash of 16756 that adds support for that :) just waiting on a dashlaunch that supports it.there are ways around this though if your impatient :) google is your friend.also you can use this to see which update adds what feature in the future.
