Ok
I got an X3 with 1959 bios on a Xbox 1.4,I have MxM as the dashboard in C:,the dashboard comes up and everything and I can even Ftp into it as I saw to that.But my problem is I cant get it to load any of the skins I have downloaded,in fact i can't even see them in the skins and misc. menu option.Ok this is what i have as the skin path in my MXM.xml.in fact this is the only thing i have in my MXM.xml:

<Main>
<SkinsPath>E:\Apps\MXM\Skins</SkinsPath>
</Main>
</Config>

And I have the actual skins folder named as MXM placed in F:\Apps.Any input would be welcome as I am becoming quite irritated with this dash,I know its a cool dash but I never had this problem with Evox.

Did you try putting the skins where the stock/imbedded skins are? If you put the skins where the ones that are already there are then you should be able to access them!!

i tried mxm a few weeks ago and did not like it at all. but to answer your question, the only way that i could get the skins to load was to put each skin in it's own folder on the root of F: drive ( i had mxm installed to the root of F: drive). and i had to change the .xml file to look for my skins in f:\

hope this helps, but if i were you i would dump mxm and go with unleashx or avalaunch. both of which are great and have much more to offer than mxm. IMHO

thanks for the input.one quest.sirshady420 where exactly is this stock/imbedded skins file at.I don see it anywhere.And thanks Hoboz for the advice I probably will be changing to unleashx.But before i do i got to figure this out.Thanks

I have never use MxM, but there is always a spot from which skins load.... Try going to www.forums.xbox-scene.com and asking around in the correct forum category over there. I bet they have a definite answer for this one!!

Ive seen this asked a few times, but never seen an answer that works. I gave up on MXM and went to thclite. The loading time and skin prob just got too anoying in MXM

Hi ,i have a liteon 93450c When I Put The Lt Switch On And Set Up Everything, Should I Power Off The Drive , Close The Tray Button But Keep The Tray Half way ?....
The Jungle Flasher Tutorial Doesnt Say Anything About It/
can anyone also tell me what a pad101 is ?

no, the tray position doesn't matter (that's why it doesn't say anything about it)

pad101 is the little hole that you isolate with often two cuts
its rather sensitive to damage, so be careful around it (this is the hole for the ground)
