I think you get a erase tool when you download the Bios .Rar file. Why do you need to wipe the memory banks? Can't you just flash over the top of them?

So booting bank 1234 gives you no video.
Bank 5678 gives you flashBIOS.

It's worth checking your soldering for pins 13 14 and 15. If they look ok, then boot from bank 5678 and once into FlashBIOS, set to bank 1234 and reflash the BIOS - double check you have the correct one. Let me know how you get on.

I think there is a program to clear out your X3, but I'm not positive, never had to try yet

Cheers Martin it worked great. I now have all banks working but still can't get evox to work.
So you now have the Xecuter Rox My Box logo?

If so, then you can go ahead and play your backups/imports etc.

If you're looking to install another dashboard, then you'll need to copy the dashboard files to the C drive. This can be achieved either by FTPing to your Xbox while in X3 Config Live or via a boot disk.

There are tutorials for all of this - check out the X3 n00b guide for one.

Wipe what exactly?

The BIOS banks are NOT to be erased under any circumstances. If you managed to completely erase all banks (including the backup BIOS) you'd have a useless chip.

If you ever need to reprogram a bank then boot the backup BIOS and set the switches to the bank you want to reprogram. Use the FlashBIOS to reprogram. Done.

The X3erase program is to clear X3 Config Live of all information (password, settings etc). It won't touch the BIOS banks.
