Memory stick is a ripoff!!! Any alternatives???

Hi Everyone,

I have a 360 core system....poor me.... I don't want to waste $50 on a microsoft 64mb memory stick.

Is there anything else I can use to save games, etc. such as a USB stick/drive???

no, either buy the 20 GB harddrive or wait for the xbox 360 elite to launch and buy the 120GB hdd

or buy a stock 120gb hdd from western digital, put the signature from the original 360 drive on it (when it comes out)... then internalize your harddrive, i've seen tuts about it.

this is the way i would go. nice and cheap

how is this done any links to tutorials? does it have to be a wastern digital 120gb hdd?

yes.. this program hddhacker was made to work only with western digital 2.4 " sata drives.

All I can say is wow, all that just to get the harddrive inside the sweltering 360 case?

I'm not knocking it, I just don't get it is all...

shouldn't be that much of a problem where it is located... neither does the hdd generate much heat

i'd be willing to go this way if i had a core system
