I'm pretty sure this can be done, I've seen bioses that have been merged with an eeprom. I have recently thought of some useful reasons for doing this and would like to know how this can be done, if there's some sort of tool or something. I would like to know so I can:

Upgrade a HD in a softmodded xbox - by getting the eeprom from the softmodded xbox, and flashing it on my mod chip I can set up and lock a upgraded HD for use in the softmodded xbox, no hassle of changing my onboard eeprom and possably screwing up.

actually that's the only reason I wanted it, but I'm sure there are other uses for doing that.

Either my couch or my chair.
use xbtool and x2 4981 or if its a 1.6, use evox m8 and evtool.

what option is it, embed HD key? Ok I see two options, I don't know which one will do what I want above I see embed eeprom, but no option to choose the eeprom. And I see embed HD key, will that allow me to lock a HD to the softmodded xboxes eeprom or use the softmodded xboxes locked HD in mine?

xbash.info
if you read the text file that comes with xbtool you would see that you have to put the eeprom.bin in a certain directory for it to load, you can't just choose it
