FIXED Mess Fix

Hello

Friend of mine tried to install CR on he's Falcon, but failed and damaged the board alittle.
I've removed all CR remaining and the box won't even light up.
Fixed the stby_clk > box flash green now, but no boot
i think the pll area is damaged.

Can anyone tell what should I test ? its so messy I can't figure what to go on.

I've desoldered some solder ball from the resistor above. probably he dropped some solder.
can I test this resistor between point to make sure he sits ok ?

you need a better image.. clean the area up and get a better pic. Also you might want to leave a bit of insulation on the wire. You have WAY too much wire exposed.

remove that wire. Clean up the entire area then take another image. Obviously you should also be testing continuity from that point to the near side of R7R17.

I've removed the wire already, but the black stuff is still there and solder cleaner or alcohol doesnt clean that. I hope its not deep from the board.
I'll try to make some more work on it to get better view.

You'll need something like MEK to clean it.

I have no idea what this MEK is but I got some and cleaned all around. Then I saw alittle leftover from he's solder shorting two points there.
Cleaned that and box back on game.

Now I understand why you guys keep saying about soldering, Dont know ? dont do!
