LITEON 83850 v2 Messed up on MRA

Well, I have the LT clip v1 I think. Soldered it on, and it all worked but it would stay at status x7F no matter what.

Well I decided to just take it off and use my Probe v2 (don't know why I didn't think of this first)

But then I noticed that one point of the copper chipped off. (the part where there is the 2 trace cuts)

So I was like oh sh*t and now the DVD drive will not eject nor show up in Jungle Flasher.

Also, I cannot repair it because the solder does not stick to the PCB.

Yes, call me a newb considering I failed when I shouldn't have.

EDIT: Ok well I fixed it, but now I just need to know how to get into vendor mode...

youve killed pad 101, i havent got any pics for it but search pad 101 repair and theres loads of pics on the internet.

It doesn't even show up in Jungle Flasher so how would I if I can't?

Is there anyway I can just get a replacement drive and somehow get it to work? I don't even have a OFW dump.

actually doesn't look to bad. Do the repair clean up your mess you should be fine. Unless you burnt out the chip already.

theres is 30+ pages of what to do. If you cant gather enough information from that, I suggest you send it off to someone who knows what there doing ie: Marshamods or Xmods


FFS if you dont have a orig dump, how are you gonna get the key. Unless you wanna go the coolrunner route

the drive wont show up until youre probing pad 122 as marsha said.

that key would take 10 seconds to extract matey.

probe pad 122 with the right prong and power the drive on and refresh the io in jf and itll detect the drive. then proceed to mra as normal.

if you cant do it post me the pcb and ill extract for free.
