too much solder, too thick wire. you can do a better job if you apply a tiny spot of solder to the point and not a massive blob. i thought you can jtag????
I can, but I usually don't do this type of soldering. Just fit a wire through a hole lol.

BTW... I f**kING FIXED IT! :D :D: :D

I bridged it and now it shows up in JF and the drive ejects... YAY

Now, how do I go ab flashing since I cannot cut the trace? Probe 3 or?

Why did you use monster cabling for the jumper wire just curious...
lol I always use that wire because its great for Jtagging so I just decided to use it. Does the same thing as any other wire correct?

I had the same problem. Pushing a thin pin into the hole where pad101 was and soldering it to the track fixed the problem for me but the drive would only run for a while then needs to be switched off and on. As for the mra with my liteon needed a 15 ohm resistor to get it into vendor mode. Maybe you can try the mra method again if you can fix that pad. Someone correct me if I have told him something that could be wrong. I'm new here and had the exact same problem.
