Everything was good until i had to solder the D0. Believe it or not the rebuild was easier then the d0. the wire wouldnt stay in n solder was just building up in the hole. so i scraped some solder out n i got a frag without the chip. is there anyway to fix this. can i use the alt lframe on top.

do you have a meter to check the connection of the D0 ?

You should check out if you have a connection of the D0 trace ...
from "a spot" before your "solder spot" ...

if there is a broken trace ... or you need to "rebuild" this trace
.. like you have done the rebuild of the LPC ...

if you have done this you can use the alternate D0 spot ...
but you need to repair ... a broken trace before it will work !

I know that this advice is very "Gerneral"...
but .. since you said .. you even have a "Frag" when the
x3 is not installed ... this is what I would do ...

check visual for any solder "leftovers" near your solderpoints
check the LPC .. if you have "lifted" any trace ...
since it is a 1.6 re-check your LPC rebuild .. (what kind of rebuild did you do ?)
for liftet traces .. and shortcuts .. or bad solderpoints ..
make sure you use FLux ... to get got solderpoints

and to go back to the D0 problem ... if you can't figure out if your
D0 is broken .. and you really have no chance to get your hadn on a meter
you should think about ... "rebuild it just in case it is broken" ....

are you able to take a picture from your d0 and the LPC spot ?

Good luck

Messed up The D0 Also

I have the same problem, what's strange is that after I had the problem with the D0, I removed the entire mod. And I still get two power cycles and then frag. I put a meter on from the DO pad (at least what's left of it) and to the points before and after it and I got continuity. (both ends of the trace)

But still get FRAG on boot up.
