He stopped short of offering solid numbers, but in the U.S. through October 2009, Xbox 360 has averaged around 65,000 to 70,000 consoles sold per week, according to NPD Group figures.
Microsoft rivals Sony and Nintendo did provide numbers for Black Friday. Sony said Monday that its PlayStation 3 sold over 440,000 units for the week ended November 29.
Nintendo said for the week ended November 28 that American consumers bought more than half a million Wii consoles.
