Migrating from a banned switch to a new one

Is it recommended? Could I possibly risk getting my new switch banned? Is it possible to bypass the ban to make the migration? I have some saves that I want to xfer that can't be cloud saved(mainly pokemon) but I'd like to know the risks associated with that first. TIA.

I would not recommened restoring any saves that have been used with cheats or mods. If you are going to be using CFW on the unbanned switch you can use checkpoint to backup your saves from the banned switch and then restore them on the unbanned switch. There is always a risk of ban when modding a console though.

First thing you should do is setup an emunand, and keep the sysnand clean so you can go online if you wish and remain unbanned.

Then you can transfer anything you want to the emunand, as you keep that offline (emunand for SX OS).
