Missing resistor and burned pads slim

Hi,
I have tried to do the RGH, however very unsuccessfully. I feel embarrassed right now but let it be a lesson:facepalm:. So here it goes. I used the quick solder board to connect the nand x and coolrunner, and managed to boot to Xell and dash afterwards. Nonetheless, I could not get the console to boot every time as sometimes I could only hear a beep and nothing else:rolleyes2:. Only the red light would stay on the coolrunner. I tried to resolder the stby_clk because it seemed to me that this point was causing the problem but I ripped the pad on the qsb while doing that. Then I decided to do it by wires, desoldered the qsb, which took me ages as I was trying to solder for the first time, and soldered the wires except for the stby_clk as I could not get any solder to stick to it. The pads looked burned, so I tried to repair it by soldering to the trace and the left hand side of the resistor. I could get a wire soldered to the trace and the resistor but the connection to the resistor was not good. By trying to make it better I messed it up, and now I have a ripped resistor:rolleyes2:. I messed up pretty bad and do not know if it can be repaired. Maybe I damaged something more while desoldering the qsb but most likely the stby_clk is the problem. It seems to be that the only pad that is not burned is on the right hand side of the resistor. Is there anybody who can help? I can get pictures but only low quality thus I do not know if those pictures would be any help. I am from Lithuania but willing to send it to the UK as I do not really know who could attempt to fix it locally. By the way, sorry for my English.

I tried soldering from the resistor to the alternative point on the other side of the board. The fan started spinning and the green light showed up but only for a couple of seconds and then it rroded. I guess it was due to my bad soldering to the resistor or maybe I fried the resistor. When I soldered to the trace, I could only get an rrod for some time but no fan spinning. The soldering is pretty bad now as I tried to resolder the points several times and in the end I had no flux left, although the solder contained flux. And the traces are scrapped at two places where they should not be, but I think this should not be a problem. Also, when I lifted the pad from the qsb, I could not access the nand anymore. This might suggest that the pad of the motherboard was also damaged.

i cant see the damage on them photo's, can you not borrow a better quality camera as you will struggle to get help if we cant see where you went wrong
the 1st thing i'd do is get some isopropyl and give all the points you have tried to solder a good clean
there are quite a few alternate solder points but i'd highly reccomend sending it to sombody else
as for the resistor you might be ok without it, but without a good picture we wont know

I will try to get better pictures but it will not get them today. Would the console boot without the resistor in place? I would like to send the motherboard to someone else as I might not be able to fix it myself, and I should not probably try to. I made enough damage. However, I do not know to whom I should send it. That is the reason I am writing here. Maybe someone is offering a repair service? I think that the resistor has to be soldered and properly connected to the trace.

best bet is to send it to a pro.other wise you may damage it more tryin yourself.beyond repair.

The Xbox is working again:). I have got the track and the resistor fixed by a local guy. However, when I unplug the power cord from the socket and plug it back again it will not glitch for the first time I try to power it. The fan starts spinning at max rpm and the red light blinks for some time. The second time it boots but shows the warning about self shutdown due to ventilation. All other times are fine. So, before I assemble it back again, should this be happening or something is wrong? Thank You all for your answers:).

The red light should be constant when the power cable is plugged in, Your fan should not spin up to maximum, re-check your soldering\wiring something is wrong with that.

Still something wrong with the wiring\soldering if you have a flashing red light. Did the person that fixed it not tell you that ?

Thank you for advice:). The person who fixed the track and the resistor does not do the rgh. He said that soldering of the coolrunner looked fine. Well, I used some electrical tape to coat the red wire and it seems the problem is gone.
