mistakenly set to PAL... how to set to NTSC without TV?

got it fixed... walked the menu as best I could with a constantly "flipping" screen...
but that brings up a good question... can you edit the BIOS settings and then FTP them to the XBOX/X3?
This would be a very useful feature for setting/saving/restoring settings.

Affini, I'm in the same situation. Can you give me the keypresses to fix it? I can't see the menu choices well enough (nor remember them as I'm a newbie) to get it done...

What you did was reset your video settings from NTSC to Pal I believe...that's why your screen is black and white and rolling...here, try this to fix it. You won't be able to tell what the hell you're doing since your screen is rolling, but hopefully I can help blindly navigate you through X3CL to reconfigure your video settings.
1) Turn on your xbox and make sure you boot to X3CL (Push and hold white button at start up)
2) Push "Down button" 4 times and hit "A button"
3) Push "Down button" 1 time and hit "A button"
4) Push "Down button" 1 time and hit "A button"
5) Reboot and this should hopefully fix your black and white rolling screen.
Note: I'm using the 1957 Gold bios...so I cannot guarantee that my instructions will work for whichever bios you're running. But if you are using the 1957 Gold, then this should at least fix your video settings.

jtag unbannable?
Hi all been a while since ive posted! ....i keep hearing these storys about a possible jtag xbox being unbannable that doesnt mean once it gets banned get a new kv apprently thers a way summat about reverse engineer the hyper visor if sum1 could fill me in on this would be much greatful or if any1 noes of anything thanks.

Not possible. MS can check the nand contents when you sign into Live. If your nand contents are different from what they expect, and they will be if you're on a JTAG console, the console will be banned.

i have been told its something to do with switching the nands at start or something...some1 called jester has 'Apparently' done it and it works hes been hosting like mw2 lobbies for over a month now and has god mod and other modz my friend played with him for over 6 hours without him getting banned i don understand this its quiet frustrating

i would say that JTAG boxes are the opposite of unbannable
they are 100% flagged as soon as they are online
they will be banned, and rebanned if the NAND is changed after banning
