Let me first say that this is the first cake box I have had issues with, never had a coaster with others. This was the first cake box I ordered from xconsoles, and I feel like I got all crap discs. I was using my 124 which I was using for several months, but then I got errors when I was burning with these discs (used MKM-003 before, same settings). I get failed verification at 50% on all different setups (2.4x, 4x with several different settings), so I broke out a new 224 and flashed that with burner max. I tried one disc at 4x and OPC and got a fail at 50%. Is this most likely an issue with the discs, or is there something I'm missing? I had no bad burns of discs with burner max and the 124 up until last week when I started using this cake box.

I'm guessing you checked the iso and you also aren't running anything in the background? Have you changed any hardware inside the computer?

That message means it is a Bad burn, you most likely got a bad spindle of discs, pretty unlucky given it seems to be having trouble writing data at the edge of the disc, try using one of those discs to burn an XGD2 backup and report back, my guess is no error message, you might need to find a more conventional use for those discs (movies, old game back-ups, data).

224 needed to be cross flashed to 624 in order to flash ixtreme. I'm just going to order new verbs and see what happens. I never had this issue and it's pissing me off. I'll try other games later and see what happens.
