Hey guys!

I'm kinda new at this, however i took some serious time reading and searching this and other forums for information on how to burn a good XGD3 disc.

I have a iHas 122-04C, and i got a few Verbatims MKM001 for me to play with.

Tried to burn Battlefield 4 two times, however, the first burn (with LIGHTNING UK! SETTINGS - OPC = OFF, OHT = OFF, SB = ON, FHT = OFF, OS = ON), as copied from the official post, but got a pretty bad disc, almost unplayable, PI avg almost 100 etc.

Thought i should give it another go, after reading that MUST READ FOR PPL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MKM001, and turned on all EEPROM settings, OPC, cleared OPC and all.

here's the result

Disc : DVD+R DL , MKM001 [Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation]
Speed : 4x
ECC blocks sum (PI/PIF) : 8/1
Scanned range : 0 - 4267023
Sampling count : 250240
Errors : 0
PI Max : 384
PI Average : 87,83
PI Total : 2749620
PIF Max : 41
PIF Average : 0,36

and i'm very confused about why i had this awful result. Maybe because of cleaning OPC history? i dunno. any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

In the past I always had inconsistent burns with mkm001 verbs. Since moving to mkm003 Singapore verbs I've never had a coaster yet. I'm not saying mkm001 will not work, I'm just saying mkm003 are a lot better.
