Ok heres the story guys:
The other day i did a softmod to my xbox. everything was fine untill i tried the AID 2.0 on my xbox. It was workin fine i had the menu up and rollin and the first step was to format the hardrive. so i did as told. After i did that i thought the normal step would be to reboot the xbox. BIG MISTAKE. of course as i know now i should have reinstalled the ms dashboard but i didnt. SO all hope was lost there. Of course i didnt make a back up cd of my hard drive im stupid i know.
So some one told me not all hope is lost. They said just install a mod chip . so this brings me to a couple of questions
Whats the best one out there? and when i do install it i know you use bios and stuff and get other Dashboards from your PC using the ports on your comp. But first i need to know what one would be the best for my situation. What mod chip woudl be the best.
Right now i get an error code 13 when i turn on my xbox and it really means that there isnt an ms dashboard there(which there isnt one really) but i want to put a mod chip in that i coudl redownload the ms dashboard and fix this/ if possible.
Also im a huge fanatic of Xbox Live. So i want one you can turn off and on. i know thoes almost come standard in ne newer models.
So couple of things i have a V 1.0 xbox yes one of the originals.
I tried to install the soft mod but formatted and restarted. Screwed it up
No ms dash right now I need to find a mod chip that will re load the ms dashbaord and maybe do more in the future but for right now....just get it back to normal.
If ne one could help it would be greatly appreciated. Also if you feel like you need to email me that would be amazing too cuz i need all the info i can get on this.
