Modded or not modded!!?!

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on here!

I got my xbox360 this christmas, and I am thinking of getting it chipped/flashed. One of my mates did the same and his is done now and he's having no problems on Live or anything like that.

I want to get mine done, but obviously mine is still under warrenty. i also want to be able to play on Live and use backups etc etc without any problems. Everyone says one day they will block all the users that have a modded xbox, but then others disagree, so I just dunno what to do.

I dont want to buy another xbox cuz that kinda defeats the object of getting it done.

Anyone pursuade me either way (preferably in the modded direction lol).

P.s the guy who I get it done off also claims he can put the warrenty stickers back on perfectly that microsoft can't tell, as they only look at the sticker its self.

You have to decide for yourself. Potentially, yes, one day ms may start banning gamertags, s/n, etc... of modded consoles, just as they did with xbox1. I dont forsee them doing this until we are able to hack games and play on live, as that was the main reason they did so. Currently, you can still use the xbox1 dvd firmware hack on xbox-live, so, they dont seem to be too concerned about it. Time will tell.

Flashing your firmware is a risk you take. If you are that worried about it, then it probably isnt for you.
