I really want too mod my halo 2. I need to know how too actually get too the .map files inside the game.. when i try extracting them with winrar all i get is the video partion of the disc... wtf? how doo i get too the game partion of the disc in windows?

im not a cheater. i like too mod and play either campaign or freind only invite games online.
moding it optimatch is gay.
and also i modded the coale.ini from gears and now when i put it in my 360 the screen goes black and i cant open the guide or anything!?!? wtf? is this a problem with backup or what cause i dont think modding the ammo and reload times is gonna make the whole thing freeze before i even get too opening video and main menu. :? maybe my backup was bad

with the latest patch for gears of war you cant mod it anymore. The game goes to a black screen if it detects a modifyed ini file
what if i play it with out a Hard drive :? thats were the patch is stored right?

im asking how too downgrade my gears so i can play modded camgaign.. i really really want too play with the campaign modded. is there ANY way too downgrade my gears or get a downgraded copy somewhere like ebay. or maybe reset my 360 too orignial settings and get the updates off it. :? :?

No, you can't downgrade. Updates are stored on flashrom chips on the motherboard themselves , as far as I know. Just play the game the way it was meant to be played.
