JTAG modding onboard hhd advice needed please

hi i have a rgh jtag falcon with coolrunner all fitted and booting perfect, i would like to convert the 20 gig hhd to a 750 hhd useing the enclosure from the 20 gig harddrive and only use this on freestyledash no need for normal dash compatibility.
the question i have is can i install the other harddrive and format it on freestyle dash so it detects to install apps like it was a origional drive and if so anyone link me to how thanks. and lastly does it still have to be a western digital drive or can any drive be used now as long as its only for the jtag menu its never going to be used for standard dash thanks for anyhelp or advice.

You have to go to metro dash and configure it for the 360 but it will work just fine and should be fine using any drive

will it still work with horizon app to up files after its formatted via xbox and detect as full 750 gb thanks again i should have asked this in first question

No - signature checks are removed so we can use almost any 2.5" hard drive.

I expect so, as long as it is formatted with a FATX partition (done with the console).
