Is there anyway I can modd my xbox without opening it and installing any chips. If so whay are they and can u point me in the right direction. Thank You
www.xbox-scene.com is a good place to start... search on what syncmaster told you...SYNCMASTER said:Yes sure...
Think about: TSOP or EXPLOIT (softmod....)
When you got a softmod.. you can't get that awesome x3 control panel!!Catalyst said:The X3 is a breeze to install and it has some awsome features!
I did 2 softmods and they worked surprisingly well. I used the UDE2 method on 1.6 Xboxes. As long as you read the instructions and copy the important files over correctly, the rest is a breeze. I still believe a mod chip is the way to go. However, for somebody who wants to run homebrew software and backups without spending a lot of money ..... the softmod can't be beat !Catalyst said:www.xbox-scene.com is a good place to start... search on what syncmaster told you...
but a word of advice... mod chips are the way to go. Softmodding gives limited options and I don' think you can go live once you do it. Also if you screw up you're hosed...
The X3 is a breeze to install and it has some awsome features! If you're going to take the time and mod your xbox... cowboy up and buy the chip!!
Not a really bright thing to say on the official Xecuter site... but to each thier own.SYNCMASTER said:I don't know if I can say it here; but did you know how cheap a duox2 chip is?
Very goot and stabil chip, with more features than a softmod,,
