well mate you now have to explain to me why the first console has been opened and why when you knew there was a replacement coming. i just hope that you or rory hasn't be in and done damage to it, its well marked up and i will be going over it very thoroughly as you seem to have f**ked with it in some way.

you need to be contacting me asap as this console has not got rrod at all. you have updated it by the looks of it as its just not booting anything and sits there with nothing but the centre light on. i promise you matey i will bang on your door over this if you choose to ignore me. you have clearly damaged this yourself then bullshited a replacement out of me. i have a good mind to call the police and have them visit you over it instead. good luck with your new customer rory, you are going to need it.

and as suspected a flash back top the original nand image and the console boots first time. clearly it had an an attempted update done to it maybe from a game disc or you never removed it from your extracted files. having been banned already for asking here about problems with rage before the release i can only assume you updated from one of these unreleased games you are playing and caused the problem yourself. i then bore the brunt of having your console replaced and sending you the money to return the faulty one all on good faith which has been abused to say the least. i hope all the members here take note of your name and location and offer you no help and hopefully one of the scammers who occasionally come here will give you the favour back in return for me.
i am 110 percent sure the console was opened as all my cases are mint when used on a console all the marked ones are chopped up for case mods, and thisone has clearly had a small screw driver shoved in the clips at the rear of the console and the side panek without the hard drive socket was reversed which causes it to sit proud toward the front of the machine, i've done enough cases now to know how they go back together and even match up this part to the front of ther console as there is a groove to remove the faceplate on that side that ends up at the back of the console instead of the front. also one case screw was missing. if you were local mate i'd be pounding your face in by now.

i would like to add i do not think rory has ever seen this as a bit of research has shown he is a competent repairer who could have identified the issue and at the very least would have put the console back together how it should have been. i do not want this to reflect badly on console repair world in any way.

cheers mate, yes as you can tell i deffo have not been near any of these consoles yet.
as said i could have easy identified the issue and fixed it. i use only pro tools from team xecuter for opening cases so you cant even tell ive been in there.

i put on warranty stickers after ive affected repairs so i know if someone has been in there.

yes mate i'm sure of that, only added in the last bit as i had mused earlier about it being a possibility when i was still raging about it.
warranty stickers are on order now so it shouldn't happen again at least. i'm already losing no sleep over it though so its all good.
