I am still a noob at these slims. Someone wants their mw3 console flashed. I thought I read somewhere that they all had either Hitachi or the 1175 Liteon drives, but now I can't find where I read that. He has already looked at the dvd tray to determine it is definitely a Liteon drive. So is it definitely an 1175 or were there other Liteon drives in these machines? I just don't want to have him drive 30 mins here for me to open it up hoping it is not an 1175 if 1175 is all they used.

Some are trinity and some are corona I am under the impression 1175 are only in corona but there are 16d4s in corona too so you would have to crack it open pal

Ok, they don't need RGH so it doesn't matter if it is glitchable. They just want LT+ 3.0 so they can play their backups. So if it says 9.xx on the console, he is out of luck. If it says 10.xx then I need to open it up.

Take note of the manufacturing date on the console.
go to this site

http://www.360drives.com/list

Use the filter options on top so shorten the list. I usually check the NTSC video format, and Country.

Now, use the Manufacturing date of your console and compare agains the MFR date on the website. Try to find an exact match or at least an MFR date that is as close as possible to your console's date.

Or just post the manufacturing date of the console and I let you know
