My title is pretty much my question, but I've done a bit more homework than just to come begging.
My situation is this, I have a Corona v3 (16mb nand) that I've installed the "JRP/NandX/CR QSB V3" the postfix adapter, and already successfully DGX'd it, got my key, and reverted the board to stock and booting. Everything is gravy there. (Thanks to such great products, literally glitched on FIRST DGX pulse 60cm post out and 12cm CPU RST).
BUT.... why am I posting in the Demon section? Because I want to install a demon...haha
With the Demon Corona QSB v2 just being announced yesterday, I'm being impatient and would like to modify my v1 QSB to make it work. Thanks mostly to D.Triplett and his thread here and the image of the new v2 QSB I think I've come up with a reasonable plan.
Here is what I want to do (mocked up on D.Triplett's image):
Full resolution here in case this is hard to see: http://i.imgur.com/A2o5B9B.png
Essentially I want to dremel out the spot for the smd resistor which will break the trace for D4 which I would then obviously jump to the Demon. Then it seems as if I could use a very thin wire and connect FT1R1 to the CE location on the QSB.
I'm not sure what that wire coming out of the bottom was doing in D.Triplett's original image, but as far as I can tell, bridging D4 and connecting FT1R1 to CE is all I'm going to need to do.
Agreement? Disagreement? Anything I might have missed?
Thanks in advance.
