moding my friends 1.6 need help

Yeah so I moded my v1.0 months ago and a friend asked me to mod his 1.6 and im having some problems.

First off we got the Xecuter 3 SE chip installed so far, my 1.0 was a lot less work. Anyway it booted fine to the first bios screen where i loaded a bios via cd. Now this is were the problems started.

It completed the upload and shut down , but when i went to start it up it turns on and off and then the eject button flashes red and green. I can still boot up using the back up bios but not the one i loaded. It boot with back up bios so i know the mod chip is working, right?

The bios i loaded was v1959, i know this is super old but its the one i used ages ago, will this not work with this version?

I just want to get this thing working and go back to playing my xbox can some one walk me through this......

I'm just a noob, but from what I understand you have to have a BIOS that is compaitble with the Xecutuer chip you installed. You need an X3 bios, and if you are running a v1.6 board (like I am) you need the X3 16 Plus BIOS. You can get them from XBins, if you don't know what that is, goto http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php and read that tutorial.

Sorry if I am wrong, but that is how I got my modded 1.6 working with X3.
