Monitor Com Not working?

*Fixed* The fix can be found oon page 3 of this thread.

I am trying to Monitor Com my Corona board. I have correctly soldered on an old xbox DVD power cord and hooked it up to my X360USBPROv2 and plugged that into my computer. However I do not get a new Com port. The only ports I have are Com 1 and Com 3. Is their something I am doing wrong?

What cable are you using? Make sure you have the drivers installed correctly. If you do it should show up in your device manager. Select is in the device manager and see what com port its assigned to.

In my device manager I can see X360USBPROv2 but it however does not show the Com port. Could you hint me to where it is located?

Monitor Com now lets me open Com 3 after I disabled Com 1 but on the Monitor Com window it doesn't do anything besides say "Port opened at 2/16/2013 1:04:00 PM"
Or:
"Port closed at 2/16/2013 1:04:01 PM"

your device manager should show both X360USB and ck3i devices

That is all that will show up until you have a successful glitch. Even if your Coolrunner/DGX is blinking, nothing shows up in the com port until it actually glitches and starts trying to load Xell.

What do you mean by LAN cable?

ethernet cable plugged into back of xbox and the other end into router
Watch for the leds blinking in the back of router in which the ethernet cable is plugged into the xbox
If u see the leds flashing then it's doing something

btw for the ck3i to work needs molex power as well

I have the molex plugged in.

That has nothing to do with Moniter Com though...
