ZeniMax Online has delved yet deeper into the make-up of Elder Scrolls Online dungeons, via a new Q&A. The game will cater to both solo adventurers and groups, it explains, and you'll be able to resurrect your character at Wayshrines rather than leaving the party when you die. That's in the wake of a moderately lengthy account of the thinking behind the game's combat. Here's a bit more on that front: some dungeon quests will alter which kinds of monster appear where. Some beasties can also change weapons, like the Battlemage. Keep your wits about you when fighting the latter.

Dungeons won't be available on a time-restricted basis, and most of them are accessible to all, though a handful are cordoned off for the enjoyment of either lone explorers or parties. "Some might be too dangerous for you because of your current level, but you can always come back when you are more powerful if you want to complete them solo," the article notes. "We recommend grabbing a friend or grouping up with a stranger if it seems too tough, though, because that's all part of the fun."
Dungeons will have branching paths, but you won't be able to avoid encounters quite as easily as you can in Skyrim - the focus, ZeniMax Online says, is on battle. Stealth attacks are a good way to kick off a brawl, as you'd expect, but you'll need special abilities to reinitiate stealth once the battle's underway.

The game's out in 2014 for Xbox One and other, miserably unimportant platforms. Where do you think the developers should take it? Making the game accessible to console RPG veterans appears to be a priority.
