More Install problems ;/

I installed my new x3 CE, im a sh*tty solderer, but i thought i did OK.. but now the extenal switch panel doesnt light up, i only have 1 blue light on the chip, that flashes on onyl when i am pressing the power button, and no red/green light flash protection light on the chip itself, and it boots to the xbox bios no matter what i do.. any ideas?

I foudn otu something.. i noticed that the slot that switch wire terminal doesnt quite go in all the way on one side, so i look inside, lowand behold, the pins on the right side on the chip are bent ;/ anything i can do about this? any support by team x ofr somethign like that?

that means you werent careful when you plugged in the connector. therefore, help from the reseller, since its your fault, will prolly not be coming.
you can just unplug the dip switch panel 'cause you dont need it anyway. not sure if its the dip switch panel yer talking about 'cause this is kinda confusing "the slot that switch wire terminal." what the hell are you talking about?

ugh.. reading back over that i see how incoherent it was.. pissed off and tired i guess.. anyway.. yeah, the connector to the dip switch panel.. and i was careful.. But without that piece i cant set the banks after i flash it if i do get it working can i?

you dont really need the dip switches. if its disconnected, you will auto flash to banks 1-4. after you flash that, you can select, via X3CL, banks 5-8 if you wish to flash those too.

Its not the dipswitch thing thats broken, its the part on the actual chip that it plugs into

well as long as none of the pins inside that connector are shorted together (touching), then you should be alright. just flash the chip without it.
