more RGH issues

Hey All,

Me again!!! so i took my coolrunner off my stuffed slim and threw it on my phat and i can boot xell boo yeh but the prob extends from my nand i read it and got 3 identical dumps with no bad blocks but when i make a nand to flash to the box thru xell it keeps saying bad block @ and will only write the 0 to 400 portion i have tried different programs to make the image with no success anyidea where im stuffing up? board is zephyr btw

0-400? - Zephyrs are 16MB so you should only be creating an image to 3FF
how did you create the freeboot?

i used jtag tool and multibuilder and rawflash and none seem to work i wrote the Xell ecc with the +w16 and the nand im trying to do through xell so i dont have to use any commands

Try NOT to flash the box thru xell but via nand-X instead. Work for me everytime.

Can you post Multibuilder log file from when you created your nandflash.bin?

Actually, if you have bad blocks Xell remaps them for you so in that sense, Xell is better to flash through. But I suppose that it varies from user to user.
