I just wanted to recheck my board before I ordered my kit. While checking the thread I noticed my nand chip is identical to the corona v1. But the post out part is the same as v3 but the resisters are blue like in v1. So thought id post pics and see if you guys can help determine if my board is v3 as i assumed or indeed a v1 thanks.

May as well ask before this gets closed, but when installing i need to bridge the 3 resister points c4/c5/c6 and then solder the qsb, postfix adapter, qsb post and then add the cr3. Then read nand etc with jrp and go from there. Cannot wait to get started

yes this is true, and i would suggest the slim proto board over the cr3-pro, while it doesnt have rater, alot of testers have had almost instant booting with out having to tweak it too much. also the slim proto is $20 vs the $60 you will pay for the cr3-pro fake post. if you plan on using the demon also, the slim proto doesnt have an easy solder point for the cr_en point(You have to solder to one of the ic legs.)

If you havnt got the tools already then get the cr3 pro ultimate kit. By the time you bought the proto plus everything else youll be spending around the same. I did a v5 (pretty much the same as v3) a couple days ago and the only tweaking i needed was one dip switch and got instant boot. You'll not be disappointed and you get everything you need in the kit.

Yes bridge the points then install qsb and go from there. Any problems and we are here to help.
