Is it possible to play xvid/divx/svcd/vcd/... on the xbox360?

xvid & divx support is part of the spring update which is coming in May.

I think it plays vcd and svcd already, not sure though. But they're dead formats anyway. lol

i know that the 360 definately plays .wmv or something like that. u can use winavi to convert al ur video to this format.

with that little program i get everything to work, except mkv takes for ever to stream

I tried playin a video cd in my 360 and it didnt work. Could just be the media or something =/

i thought divx was a whole set of illegal codecs of that sort..
