ms dash not booting after install of x3 chip??

everything went great. installed the chip flashbios works fine but will not boot ms dash. keeps going to the flash bios. have not installed the xecuter bios ye because i wanted to know if i did something wrong. everything seems fine but it just wont boot ms dash. please help???

try holding the power button down until the switch turns red and then it will boot into ms dash.

It will keep going to flash until you load a bios or hold the power button to disable the chip and boot to ms dash.

yea i hold the power button but it still turns on with the switch at red but turns off then back on with the switch at blue as if the chip were on?? i cant boot it with the chip disabled?? or do i have to flash the bios first then try to boot with it off or what?? please help and thank you in advance..

Hmm, I would go ahead and flash the chip and then try. I thought that even without a "bios" it should still boot to ms dash with it disabled, but I might be wrong.

Haha, that's weird. It WILL let you boot to msdash even without a bios, I have done it before. I dunno why it would be doing that to you. You say it's starting it up with the chip off, then turning off and then back on with the chip on? So it's not an issue with alt 5v and you leaving the pin in so it's always on?

everything looks fine but it wont boot the ms dash when i hold the power button. i dont know what to do?? maybe the 5v isnt connected correct would that make a difference?? i thought if that was wrong it would just wouldnt boot at all even the flashbios screen.

Did you remove pin 6 from the pin header as AJerman said?

The Hitachi v79 requires ‘unlocking’ via Audio CD which can be downloaded here
Burn the .bin, using the cue sheet in IMGBurn (done by right clicking .cue file and selecting “burn with imgburn”)

question 1 - where is the audio CD file that i need because i click on the link and it takes me to the homepage of 360mods and i dont know where to go from there, i checked Downloads but i dont see it anywhere
