MS dashboard wont load.

Hey guys !
Some time ago i installed a xexuter 3. It works FINE, i love it.
But if i want to use the MSdashboard, then i have to unlock the harddrive, is that correct ?
Just need to know that.

to use the msdash you have to lock the hdd.

Yes, you can do it in x3cl

1. disk tools

2. current hard drive setup

3. chane hard drive lock to enabled.

I tried to load the normal msdash (holding power long) by turning off the chip and it seems to load normal till a screen that says "service required. call customer support" in many different langauges and also has a number 16 in the upper left hand corner. sometimes the number is 05. can any one tell me what this means or if i can restore this? I have also tried locking the hard drive but i get the same results. FYI i have not been able to successfully flash any other bios besides to Xecuter3.03.[/img]

So do you need two hard drives for MSdashboard to load?or do you somehow copy it to your new hard drive...

If so try to FTP the stock hard drive files to your PC, and reload them to the upgraded hard drive, ONLY FILES FROM C AND E. Then put EvoX on the C partition after editing the evo.ini file

Did you overwrite the default xboxdash.xbe with your dashboard? If so, that's the problem. You overwrote msdash with a custom dash which is unsigned and will obviously crash when trying to boot it without the mod chip on. Rename the dashboard to whatever it's default is (evoxdash.xbe, xbmc.xbe, whatever, you can see a list of dashboards that the X3 will look to boot in X3CL), then go get a newer game or movie that has dashboard on it and run update.xbe to setup msdash again (I know Halo 2, Burnout 3, Van Helsing and many others have msdash on them, just take a look on a disc and see).

Now, you should have xboxdash.xbe which is msdash, and you should have another file, evoxdash.xbe, or whatever, that the X3 will boot when the mod chip is on for your custom dash.

HELP flash liteon93450c detail problem shown please help

hi there !
I follow your video guide and jungleflasher guide pdf.
First to say what i have off hardware
1.Fat xbxo360 jasper with liteon 93450c a0a2
2.VIA PCI card 6421 shown as via raid 3249 (I uninstall drivers for card got yellow mark )
3.Its Windows Xp pro sp3
4.My drive did already have IXtreme v.1.6.1 - 12X firmware in it.
5. I am using xbox360 for power
6.portio drivers 32 installed manualy as device ....in device manager
7. HDD 120 gb removed from xbox360
8. jungleflasher 1.7.6 beta
9, dosflash 1.9 dosflash32

So to start my problem sorry if its in this thread ...if I am wrong ..
Well...
I buy 22 Ohm resitor,switch
MY college who has soldering skills makes my work for me because he does that for his regular work so it better then I am.
I manage over jungleflasher to get full dump from my drive (because in manual say if I have allready Ixtreme click Dump from Ixtreme.
So it work for me .
I get Identify.bin,Inquiry.bin,Key.bin,Serial.bin and Dummy.bin (which i read contains all that in one file) .
Then i try to follow video and guide to intro device...with switch...
Use my dummy.bin which say all ok (i post pics) as source and LTPlus-934.bin as target with right,good dvd code source and target(both same) and its has been good verify pass ok .
Drive to half open mode...switch work...Switch ok .got status 072 ..say drive in vendor mode...and try to erase and write and its trying to verify reading bank got verfication failed... try with switch in both positions... drive still in vendoer mode...status 072...
I read that others also have this problem and it work fine...so i go on..
At the end ..press Outro ata..
Then when i turn off my xbox...and on xbox restarted...drive spin a little and stopped . ..i connect video to it with AV cable to see if there are any error
on screen ..but no error...boot to dashboard...ok ..but it say tray opening...button on xbox360 for open dvd door dont work....button on remote controller dont work... i got flashing green light in a middle of xbox just bellow when you turning on...flashing all the time...

So my dvd is still connected with my pC sata cable...dvd power connector connected to xbox360 power connector for dvd ..but no power...in dvd drive..
But still i cant see my drive in jungleflasher...model.all stuff that it got from drive in drive properties box...but no power in dvd drive...
Still have MRA hack cables...switch on it...but it doesnt have any power in it...
Then i try to use Jungeflasher to get to half way out dvd but i cant because it wont get open ....
I now to open manualy with a pen pulling to left and get tray out... but my xbxo on screen says allways opening....and when i press bututon on remote or xbox open dvd button cahnge screen opening close openign close...and stays opening,,,but nothing moves nothign moves in dvd drive even laser wont light wehen xbox is turn on...and powered....


So i try to see to use DOs flash because jungleflasher say drive to halfway out...
I get to dosflash v1.9
Open ok... it show my drive specification connected visa PCI VIA card
no portio 32 error
I try put switch to off position ..and disconeted power from dvd drive from xbxo power conncetor on motherboard and connected and i got status 072
I feel good for that...but for a short time :-(
then i try to read flash and it worked ...i get out dummy.bin and I cant use it to check in jungleflasher....its says parse error

So i try to just open it with Ultra edit... and file look(just look) and file is full of dots (read dots) like this --> ............. no other sign in it i has size of 256 KB.
IT no good firmware right ?
I try other position form switch and get read again now with all type of characters...
Then i try to flash again my drive with created
create as manual for dos say... LITE_CF.bin...which I can use to get full ok on test in jungleflasher with right dvd code in both texb box in soruce and target ok.
OS i read a guide more and did erase ...it gave signal erase OK... I go to Write ask em what to write...i choose LITE_CF.bin and it was Write Succesed..
So i think its ok...But..
Then i turn off xbox360 and unplug... all cables for dvd drive remvoe mra hack... restore trace (my college who has skills in soldering) and connected
power to drive and sata cable (original) to dvd drive turn it on ...
but still laser dont move...no red light...no opening...no closing door when clicked on remote or button xbox360 button...nothing works..
Still blinking middle green light...and on screen my xbox boot to dashboard...(its kinect D:2.0.12416.0 K:2.0.12416.0 BK:2.0.1888.0)
and when powered nothing moves in dvd ...
We try it again with mutlmetar... for 3.3 volt wehn clossed it say 0.0 vols... college try to press with multmetar to tray status pin and laser turn on ...
and eject drive out soon as he move mutlmetar pins from ... dvd pc board... dry stop ... but now on screen i have drive closed....

WHat should i do now ?? any help ...
I type a very long post because I want you or anybody else to now my situation good ...so you can please respond to it ....Thanks in advance...

My college try to use mulitmetar to test conitinuity of pcb od dvd ...try to probe with mutlmetar ...does it get power from xbxo360 dvd power connector
and it does ...

you soldered your switch wrong download the newest jungle flasher tut the 1.3.8 and look for MRA hack your even missing a wire on that switch!

Evening GDD01 - you say that it had iXtreme 1.61 on the 93450c originally - so you could've just, dummied from iXtreme....and obtained your files that way.

But...do you still have at least the dummy.bin from the previous flashing? If so - it's simply a case of LOErase - power cycle - vendor mode - write LT+ v1.1.
