ms25 e 65 strange??

hello, i have the samsung ms25 and updated the firm to x52b,all went ok with the flash etc, untill i re connected the 360
sata cable which shows e65 and the tray cant eject and the power led just flashes non stop, i can use sam read to get the firmware of the drive which i have checked and all details are correct. the drive dosnt apper in my bios yet if i run the samread ....... without the 360 powered up,it cant detect the drive etc,and powered up it gives the xtreme option? any help please,

Have you compared the keys and made sure it's correct? How are you making the hacked firmware? I usually do it in Windows using the supplied bat file.

yes m8 ive used keychecker which confirmed both the orig/modded firmware match, i also use the .bat

Was this a stock ms25 going to 52b for the first time or an upgrade to 52b from a previous version of Xtreme?

yes stock ms25 upgrading from x42a

There's your problem, you have to disable Firmguard. See page 50 of Textbook's PDF tutorial.

Well, the Xtreme is your 360 drive, but you'll need to use the 0800 disc or bad flash method with a VIA SATA chipset to disable firmguard and reflash the drive. First, try reflashing the drive with your original firmware and making sure it works. Just sounds like a bad flash to me.

ive tried the 0800 disc and bad flash method etc,, it seems to me that the power to the drive is poor as it takes a few trys to make the drive spin ? and when turning 360 of it takes around 15secs to shut of ?
