Hello,i was given a 360 with a E65 error so pulled the drive out and went on to hook it up to jungleflasher but my pc would freeze for say 30 seconds then work for 3 or 4 seconds.
So i went to DOS and did a DOSFLASH16,found the drive and R to read the flash and saved to ORIG.bin.
Then DOSFLASH V to verify the key and it failed Sense FF/FF/FF
Back in windows i tried to open the ORIG.bin with jungleflasher and i get:
MD5 hash: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Parse Failed !

I have done this a few times with the same results each time,is the drive bricked or any ways around this ?

I hope someone can help and thanks for your time

The only drivers i can find are for X360USB PRO i do not have the PRO i have the original but i cant find drivers for this and it should work with samsung drive as they are the same age.

http://www.coolmods.co.uk/catalog/images/x360usb.jpg

That is what i have and apparently there are no drivers for it as its native to windows.

It works as i used it a couple of days ago but with a hitachi but maybe has problems with samsung.

Going back to my OP i cant see why i cant use DODFLASH16 for this as it reads the flash and create's the ORIG.bin for me but cant open it and get my key out which i need to move on.

I have since found out it is not compatible with samsung drives so back to dosflash for me i guess, dont want to buy a Pro version to find this drive is bricked

Looks like it dumps fine.... Once it has been dumped, can you close JF, re-open the program, and attempt to load the firmware?

I have NEVER seen this before, so this next comment is just a guess: It looks like there is either an issue with the chip, or the firmware that was originally written to the drive.

Also, I am guessing this is a Xenon so there is no chance it can be RGH'd.

Edit: Is the FW saved to a file? If so, please email it to me, I will see if I can open it up.

Parse failed usually means JungleFlasher can't find the relevant firmware file.

Make sure you are using the latest version and that you also have the latest firmware pack extracted to the firmware directory.
