ms28 im stuck at end of tutorial

I can not get the iDump to read my drive using the bad flash trick. I have tried every second from 2 - 30 twice.

The first time I tried using the iDump command it said reading 0% and stopped. After restarting my computer and trying again in dos the command said that my serial was already backed up. Sure enough there is a file in the backup folder so I moved it aside and tried to flash my original firmware again in dos. Now how many seconds I try I can not get it to read. It hangs there with the blinking underscore.

Can someone PLEASE help me????

Why would he/she need the 0800 disc? They are flashing a Samsung not a Hitachi.

As for the problem - switey, you need to post some more details please, such as what SATA controller your using, what chipset? What method are you using, i.e: USB? NTFS4DOS? etc etc

The 0800 disc is used on Toshiba-Samsung Xbox 360 drives to make the drive visible in Windows. Then, the drive can be used to backup games. Another feauture of this disc is on v4.x firmwares or later, it will also disable the FirmGuard protection.
