Did you make sure you hadn't deleted the XFT (font files) and that they aren' 0 byte files. I had completely removed the original dash and then wanted it back. and could not get it to start. I then FTPed in and noticed that one of the XFT files was 0 bytes. I replaced it with a back up I had and the dash booted fine.

Where to start?

Well my friends, it has been a while since I have been around. I used to have a modified DVD firmware until MW2 came out, but as you can guess, my xbox was one that was banned in that wave. I since then bought a new Xbox and I have not been backing up my games. I believe since then a lot has changed? Because I flashed my BENQ VAD6038 drive with ix 1.41 1.5 and 1.6. My new xbox is manufactured 09/19/2009 so I assume it has a LiteOn drive? Where do I start? I still have the VIA PCI card so I just need some guidance of where to go.
