LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM mt1339e what dvdrom???

hi im just wondering if anyone knows what dvdrom drives contain the mt1339e ic? ive googled the question but i get thousands of results for alibabas and they aint exactly trusted.

any help in this matter would be appreciated.

an unlockable pcb. if i use a failed kamikaze board and a mt1339e ic and the spi chip from a benq i will have a custom unlocked pcb.

Thats a question I would like to know myself but haven't been able to get anyone to tell me yet lol

tell me about it. ive managed to find out its a liteon drive of some description. in my pioneer dvr 118 there is a mt1868b but tis too big. already removed the spi from a dead benq. just gonna have to dig through some drives i think.

EDIT: i have found oput it comes in the kreon drives sh-d163c. shame i have a d162d

I have to give you a thanks on that. I will see about getting some lol. That drive is a samsung though, you sure it is the right drive for that chip?

apparently its hit and miss. some come with mt1309 and some come with mt1339. well from what i read @ xbh
